Rutland Tree Care was established in 2005 and has built up a fantastic reputation based on the service we provide and the quality of our workmanship.
Our aim is to provide the highest quality of tree care services (tree surgery and consultancy) to both the commercial and domestic sector based on our vast experience and qualifications.
Lee Overton (Director) is an ISA Certified Arborist, holds the Arboricultural Association Tech Cert (Arbor A) qualification, is a LANTRA Professional Tree Inspector, an ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor and has been in the industry for over twenty years and so any recommendations made on site to the client will be both professional and based on a vast amount of experience and applied knowledge.
All team members are appropriately trained, certificated (NPTC / LANTRA) and equipped safely to undertake their duties in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements.
In 2015 we became an ‘Arboricultural Association (AA) Approved Contractor’ so as to demonstrate this high level of competence.
Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor
What does it mean to be an AA Approved Contractor?
- We have been critically assessed by the leading arboricultural authority in the UK (The Arboricultural Association – trees.org.uk )to demonstrate we are working to Industry best practice, hold all relevant insurances and certifications and are implementing controls so as to further protect our clients and their property.
- All works are undertaken in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998( PUWER ), Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipments Regulations 1998 (LOLER), Work at Height Regulations 2005, HSE Arboriculture and Forestry Advisory guides (AFAG) or their Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA) replacements.
- Tree work operations require a high degree of technical competence. Anyone can buy themselves a chipper and a chainsaw and set up a tree surgery company, unfortunately, employing an inexperienced firm who are not working in accordance with relevant legislation and/ or are not qualified could be a very costly and dangerous error. Most reputable tree care companies will be Arb Approved Contractors and will take pride in reaching this benchmark distinguishing themselves from less competent firms.
